Throughout the summer, Cross Gates Family Fitness will be holding recreational camps in a variety of extra-curricular activities. Our reputation as the leading children’s facility offers the best environment for kids who are looking for summer fun.
From Sports to the Arts, Cross Gates provides something for every child.
$25.00 Registration Fee
- One-time registration fee is good for all Signature Camps
- Includes Purple Signature Camps T-Shirt which must be worn at camp.
- 3 year olds must be fully potty-trained to attend camp.

Cheer Camp – Weekly Rate:
$219 Members | $249 Non-Members
Cross Gates Cheer Camp is geared towards cheerleaders who want to have an energetic week working on tumbling, stunting, dance and cheer motions.
Cheer Camp will help prepare cheerleaders to join an All Star Competition Squad or just have a fun filled week at camp. Our Cheer Camp Counselors are all experienced High School and Collegiate Cheerleaders supported by Cross Gates Counselors who are CPR and First Aid Certified Adults. Your cheerleader will show off their
hard work on Friday at the Pep Rally.

Drama Camp – Weekly Rate:

Spend this summer underneath the spotlights at Little Stars Productions action-packed Drama Camps!
Directed by Rebecca Beckham, a veteran children’s playwright, director and producer of children’s plays, this uniquely designed camp will engage your child with interactive dramatic arts activities. Students will delight in creative experiences such as acting lessons, theater games, set design, costume design, music, and dance!
Each camp will provide exciting performance opportunities by producing different plays that will culminate in a fully staged theatrical production for an audience of family and friends! Let us introduce your child to the exciting world of the dramatic arts!

Art Beyond the Canvas:

In this uniquely styled art camp, your child will explore a variety of various painting techniques using different mediums that will expand your child’s artistic abilities. Students explore various media such as painting, sculpting, mixed media, and jewelry making. THIS IS NOT YOUR AVERAGE SUMMER ART CAMP! Directed by Little Stars Productions, each camp has a different theme using quality materials (included in price) and unique projects that your artist will be proud to present to family and friends at our end-of-camp art show!

Volleyball Camp:

Volleyball Camp focuses on mastering the fundamentals. Participants will learn proper form for the bump, set, and spike, as well as serve techniques and strategic gameplay. The program is led by National Senior Olympic Gold Medalist Ladson Poole, a University of Southern Mississippi education graduate who utilizes his teaching background to help players excel. Join us to sharpen your skills under elite-level instruction and bring competitive play back to the court.

FAST Basketball Camp:

Cross Gates FAST Basketball Coach James Parlow, former UNO shooting guard, and his staff will provide fundamental skill building and technique training in an encouraging and supportive environment. Player will be prepared for league play and school tryouts.

Jam Out w/ Jewelry Making Camp:

Does your child love creating their own jewelry? Little Stars Productions invites them to dive into a fun, hands-on camp where young designers explore the art of jewelry making through beading, resin, polymer clay, wire wrapping, and shrink‑plastic creations. Each camper will proudly take home a collection of unique, handmade pieces to wear and treasure on the final day of camp. We can’t wait to Jam Out with your budding Jewelry Designer!

Marvelous Maker Camp:

If making things is your child’s thing, then Marvelous Maker Camp is where creativity and imagination turn into artistic possibilities! Our camp is designed to nurture your child’s curiosity with fun and engaging Maker projects using different materials and mediums such as concrete, paint, polymer clay, resin, fabric, etc. Students explore new Maker techniques to develop their own styles by producing unique handmade projects that will make each child proud! Just wait and see what Makers can make!

Storytime Stars Camps:

Children love to hear stories, but at Storytime Stars Camp, children don’t just listen to stories—they perform them! Directed by Rebecca Beckham of Little Stars Productions, a veteran children’s playwright, director, and producer of children’s plays, this uniquely designed camp will enthrall young campers by teaching them how to bring treasured and classical children’s literature to life for an audience. Campers will build skills and explore various dramatic arts activities such as pantomime, puppetry, creative movement, music, and dance in a creative journey that culminates in our spectacular Storytime Theater Showcase for family and friends!

STEAM into Summer Creative Arts Camp:

S.T.E.A.M. up your child’s summer with Little Stars Productions and exciting Art projects created using Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math in ways that you never imagined possible! Your child will be amazed at how much fun S.T.E.A.M. can be when combined with the creative arts to create awesome projects such as, Chemical Reaction Abstract Art, Engineered Art Sculptures, and Mechanical Art in Motion. We can’t wait to help our students put the “A” into S.T.E.A.M. this summer!

Baseball Camp:

Our Elite Sports Training Coach, Dane Pedersen, a former Louisiana College, Delgado and Northshore High School Player, teaches the children the fundamentals of baseball with an emphasis on learning and fun. Children will learn the basic skills and rules of baseball.
