Throughout the summer, Cross Gates Family Fitness will be holding recreational camps in a variety of extra-curricular activities. Our reputation as the leading children’s facility offers the best environment for kids who are looking for summer fun. From Sports to the Arts
- Cross Gates provides something for every child.
$40.00 Registration Fee
- • One-time registration fee is good for all Signature Camps
• Includes Purple Signature Camps T-Shirt which must be
worn at camp.
• 3 year olds must be fully potty-trained to attend camp.
• Summer Campers can add on mini camps and get 20% off mini camp

Full Week Camps
Ages 5-14
(5 year olds need to have completed kindergarten)

Cheer Camp - $200/week
Cross Gates Cheer Camp is geared
towards cheerleaders who want to have
an energetic week working on tumbling,
stunting, dance and cheer motions.
Cheer Camp will help prepare
cheerleaders to join an All Star
Competition Squad or just have a
fun filled week at camp. Our Cheer Camp Counselors
are all experienced High School and Collegiate
Cheerleaders supported by Cross Gates
Counselors who are CPR and First Aid Certified
Adults. Your cheerleader will show off their
hard work on Friday at the Pep Rally

Drama Camp - $250/week
Spend this summer underneath the spotlights
at Little Stars Productions action-packed Drama
Camps! Directed by Rebecca Beckham, a veteran
children’s playwright, director and producer of
children’s plays, this uniquely designed camp
will engage your child with interactive dramatic
arts activities. Students will delight in creative
experiences such as acting lessons, theater games,
set design, costume design, acting for the camera,
music, and dance! Each camp will provide exciting
performance opportunities by producing different
plays that will culminate in a fully staged theatrical
production for an audience of family and friends....
or, if an audience is prohibited due to Covid 19,
filmed live on DVD that can be picked up two
weeks after camp ends. Let us introduce your child
to the exciting world of the dramatic arts! (Note: all
camps may have extremely limited enrollment.)

Art Beyond the Canvas $150
Ages 6-14
In this uniquely styled art camp, your child will explore a variety of various painting techniques using different mediums that will expand your child’s artistic abilities. Students will explore various media such as painting, sculpting, mixed media, jewelry making and collage. THIS IS NOT YOUR AVERAGE SUMMER ART CAMP! Directed by Little Stars Productions, each camp has a different theme using quality materials (included in price) and unique projects that your artist will be proud to present to family and friends at our end-of-camp art show! (Note: all camps will have extremely limited enrollment.)

Pickleball Camp $100
Ages 5-13
Come learn the fastest growing sport in the world! It’s not just for grown ups. Kids can play too and it is becoming a fun family sport everyone can play together. Pickleball is a unique combination of tennis and ping pong, played on indoor and outdoor courts with paddles. Our Pickleball coach will introduce students to the fundamentals of game play and technique.

Danceworks Kids Summer Blast $100
Ages 3-10
Taught by Laurie Maffei and her professional instructors. Little ones will participate in dancing, exercise, games, tea parties, dress-up, talent shows, pizza party, crafts and more!
July 11-13
Danceworks Pop Star $100
Ages 5-13
Dance Camps with Danceworks Studios & Laurie Maffei. Make your own music video! Learn routines, make-up, costuming & production to star in your own MUSIC & DANCE VIDEO to take home!
June 27-29
FAST Basketball Camp $100
Ages 5 and Up
Cross Gates FAST Basketball Coach James Parlow, former UNO shooting guard, and his staff will provide fundamental skill building and technique training in an encouraging and supportive environment. Player will be prepared for league play and school tryouts.

Kid Biz Camp $150
Ages 9 - 14
This summer…let your creative Little Star make a Little Cash! Start up the summer with Kidz-in-Biz Camp and your child can learn how to monetize hobbies, develop a business idea from existing passions, plan a prototype, and develop a pitch. But that’s not all…Little Stars Production’s Artistic team will help your child learn about designing and creating billboards, posters, and business cards for the new venture and the Drama team will help your new entrepreneur star in a custom-made commercial that will premiere at the Pitch Challenge Popcorn Party at the conclusion of camp. This is one business opportunity that your child does not want to miss!

STEAM into Summer Creative Arts Camp $150
Ages 6-14
STEAM into summer with Little Stars Productions and exciting art projects created using Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math in ways that you never imagined possible! The camp will be instructed by a certified N.A.S.A. Astro Camp Facilitator and a F.I.R.S.T. Robotics Team Coach who will amaze your child with how much fun STEM can be when combined with the creative arts to create awesome projects such as, Chemical Reaction Abstract Art, Engineered Art Sculptures, and Mechanical Art in Motion. Get your summer vacation off to a great start with STEAM! (Note: all camps may have extremely limited enrollment.)

Baseball Camp $100
Ages 5-13
Our Elite Sports Training Coach, Dane Pedersen, a former Louisiana College, Delgado and Northshore High School Player, teaches the children the fundamentals of baseball with an emphasis on learning and fun. Children will learn the basic skills and rules of baseball.
