Class Descriptions

Our barre classes are designed to effectively strengthen, tone, and balance the entire body. These workouts integrate the use of the ballet barre, light weights and various props. Students will focus on form and precision while performing small isometric movements as instructors emphasize basic alignment, foundation, and specific muscle actions. Each class includes several highly effective sequences of toning and resistance exercises with an emphasis on the core, arms, seat and thighs. Each strength section of this workout is followed by a stretching section to create long, lean muscle without bulk. These are challenging, no impact classes that require focus and precision for maximum results.
Upon enrollment, Members age 17 and up may attend any of the CG Barre classes on the schedule, but are encouraged arrive early to secure a spot in class. Participation is limited to the first 30 individuals for each class time slot due to limited space.

Each class is made up of 45 minutes of simple but challenging exercises,
followed by 10 minutes of relaxation and meditation.

 BODYATTACK™ is the sports-inspired cardio workout for building strength and stamina. This high-energy interval training class combines athletic aerobic movements with strength and stabilization exercises. Dynamic instructors and powerful music motivate everyone towards their fitness goals - from the weekend athlete to the hard-core competitor! Like all the LES MILLS™ programs, a new BODYATTACK™ class is released every three months with new music and choreography.

Channel your inner rockstar with this full-body cardio jam session inspired by the infectious, sweatdripping fun of playing the drums. Using Ripstix®, lightly weighted exercise drumsticks, torch calories and drum your way to a leaner, slimmer physique - all while rocking out to your favorite music!


A predesigned interval class that requires no equipment and is easy to learn and fun to participate in. INSANITY rounds (released every other month) offer participants the opportunity to a challenging class with heart-thumping, well-timed music. The group-exercise adaptation of this workout has been designed to give participants a safe, challenging, and results-driven experience.

Step – A basic, entry-level step class that is diverse enough for all fitness levels. No complexity, but just what you need to feel at home in group fitness.

Step Challenge – designed for the advanced stepper. This class travels through highly complex patterns and will challenge your mind and body together!

Extra Strength – Not your typical one hour in group exercise! This circuit class fuses all of our classes into one for an EXTRA STRENGTH workout. Train strength and balance, core stability, and cardiovascular interval training using all of the group ex modalities.  Something different every week!

Club Jam - come burn crazy amounts of calories in the upbeat, fun and easy to follow hip hop dance  class that is sure to leave your coming back for more!

Gentle Yoga – Try this easy to follow yoga class great for all fitness levels. Perfect place to learn basic movements of yoga to be able to move onto higher level classes.

Yoga – A one hour class of traditional yoga practices. This is our entry-level yoga class. Relax, stretch, and get stronger.

Advanced Yoga – The name says it all! Yoga with power! One hour of one of the fastest growing classes in the industry. Try our “Yoga” format before this one.

Power Yoga - This intermediate class will offer a well rounded workout that will challenge even the most advanced yoga practitioners with an emphasis on core and stability. This class moves at a quicker pace, with creative movement sequences structured to build targeted strength of body and mind, while maintaining Ujjayi breathing techniques and emphasis on proper alignment while always varying postures and poses for continual growth and challenge as you explore your yoga practice.

Pilates – A thirty-minute class to strengthen, tone, and condition the core muscles.

Line Dancing – A fun way to get fit! Learn the latest line dances while you get fit and make friends!

Tai Chi – Derived from martial arts, Tai Chi is a slow moving, gentle exercise regimen that is a part of traditional Chinese medicine and has been practiced for centuries. It is believed that the performance of Tai Chi enhances the balance of mind, body and spirit. There is ample evidence that the connection between mind and body can be used to relieve stress, combat disease and enhance physical and mental well-being. Tai Chi is truly for anyone - come give it a try!
